I've been around wood and fire my whole life, so I'm picky about stuff like this. Cracked it open expecting some gimmicky bar toy, but honestly it's solid. The dome traps the smoke properly instead of letting it just drift off like some cheap knockoffs do, and you can actually taste the difference the wood chips makes. For what it costs, no complaints. Makes a regular pour feel like an occasion. Good gift too, if you know someone who actually cares about their whiskey.
